Speakers Rock It, August 5, 2004
These JBL's are great for movies. They combine the best quality in high
fidelity, balancing the treble and bass to nominal levels to achieve a
clarity like I've never before heard from floor-standing speakers.
Music, on the otherhand, does quite well, except for the
fact that these speakers will not play any album by Kenny Loggins.
Thankfully, Loggins albums only make up about two percent of my home
audio collection. You can, however, trick them by playing movies like "Footloose" or "Top Gun." Must be a manufacturer's defect.

Auto Vac Overcompensates, August 5, 2004
As far as technology goes, this vac is a wonder. It automatically
traces your carpet and floors, cleaning them in no time so you can do
other things--like searching your husband's internet history cache.
One of my only complaints involves IRobot Roomba's necessity for
overcompensation. Giving a vacumm cleaner artificial intelligence is a
double edged sword. On one hand, IRobot cuts house cleaning time in
half. On the other hand, IRobot tends to vacuum the same room
compulsively, and at times will sit in the corner of the room
depressed, contemplating its existence as a hair, crumb, and toe-nail
disposal machine.
In any case, I strongly recommend this vacuum, as it does its job very well.

Okay..., August 4, 2004
This GPS system is pretty good. It enables drivers to
coordinate themselves on the road with online maps and audible
directions which, in theory, should help to fade the confusion of
driving in unknown terrority.
The only problem I see with this model is that it is
determined to send me and my family to Waterloo, Iowa everytime we
drive to K-Mart. This city is nearly 155 miles away from my home and it
once tricked my wife into driving there about half way before she
realized what was happening. Nowadays we take our GPS directions with a grain of salt, and that seems to work pretty well.

It works!, August 4, 2004
Unlike all the other perches my bird Flutters has rejected, he latched
on to the "Companion Perch" without fuss. What else can you say about a
perch, you know? It like, sits there and does it's job as a perch. I
mean, we're not talking astrophysics or anything. We're talking a piece
of wood. Errr, rock on, "Companion Perch" !!!

A fun way to teach your infant about Christianity, August 4, 2004
The Chewy Art is awesome! I can't keep my daughter out of the bathtub
because she wants nothing else but to chew Noah's Ark into a
unintelligable plastic mass while herself turning into an
unintelligable wrinkle mass due to prolonged exposure to H20.

Won't Dry, June 11, 2004
The price is an excellent deal on two good quality towels, but the
downside is that these towels are nearly impossible to dry thoroughly.
I've run them in the dryer for almost two hours by themselves, and
still cannot rid them of moisture. If you like towels a little damp but
at a good price, buy!

Wowzer!, June 11, 2004
I'm a rich and frivilous spender, so I decided to invest in a Segway
from a local dealer in my neck of the woods. Before long, I was
scooting around town effortlessly. The nice thing about the Segway is
that it reduces pollution, but I find that local police enforcement
does not allow me to use my Segway on main highways. I also do not like
the attention I get when using the Segway. Teenagers are always asking,
"Hey, can I try it?" It's a small price to pay to save on high gas
prices. Everyone in America should have one.
